Animal Shelter Spay/Neuter Program

When you adopt a dog, you receive a certificate for free spaying/neutering for that dog at a participating veterinary office. A list of participating veterinarians is available from the shelter.

All dogs adopted from the shelter must be spayed or neutered within six months of adoption.

Animal Shelter Fees - Effective December 1, 2004

Dog Adoption:	$42 - Includes license and a free spay/neuter certificate.
Cat Adoption:	$15
Dog License:	$12
Kennel License:	$60
Dog Drop-Off Fee:	$12 for licensed dogs $42 for unlicensed dogs
Cat Drop-Off Fee:	$10 Some restrictions apply
Dogs and cats can be brought in Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM; Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

This list is updated twice a week, usually on Mondays and Thursdays, and may be only a partial listing of the animals that need a loving home. For more information, please call or visit the Animal Shelter.

All stray dogs at our shelter are now scanned for micro-chips, but a dog license is always the sure ticket home.

All of the dogs listed below are current on vaccinations.

	Ace is a 3 year old male Cattle dog, he was a stray from Lodi area. Ace likes people, and seems to listen to some commands as well.
	B Fly is a 1 year old neutered male Pit Bull mix, he was turned in by the owner because they could no longer care for the dog.
	Chuck is a 1 year old neutered male Heeler mix. He was a stray from North Broadway Street in Medina city. He is very friendly, and seems to like other dogs here so far.
	Dharma is a 2 year old female Beagle, she was turned in by the owners because they could no longer care for her.
	Hector is a 1 year old male Papillon Mix. He was a stray from Willow road area. He likes people, and is very friendly.
	Reiter is a 4 year old male American Bulldog mix, he was a stray from Columbia road near Branch road.
	Krista is an 8 month old female Lab mix. She was a stray from Erhart road near Branch road. Krista is very friendly, and seems to know some commands as well.
	Sasha is a 4 year old female Rott mix, she is very sweet, and loves people. Sasha was a stray from Beachler road area.
	Stoney is 3 year old male Puggle, he was a stray from Firestone road near Spencer. Stony likes people, but does not do well with certain other dogs.
	Tipsy is a 1 year old female Chihuahua. She was a stray from Royal Brook drive in York Township. She is very playful, and loves people.
