Defendant charged with cocaine possession. State dismisses prior to verdict.
2-26-01 State of Ohio v. Tiger Case No. 00CR0341
Defendant charged with forgery relating to 3 sets of identification. Defendant, representing himself, admits he created the identifications and that he did so to protect his family from religious persecution.

Defendants charged with trafficking in cocaine. A large amount of cocoaine is found in the trunk of a car driven by Defendant Bruen and occupied by the other Defendants. During trial, Bruen admits his involvement and denied the others knew of the drugs.

Plaintiff claims a series of three auto accidents caused her personal injury. Subsequent to the jury being impaneled, the case was settled.

Defendant is charged with robbery of Miller Brothers Grocery Store. He put $500.00 of groceries in his cart and drove his vehicle toward two employees while fleeing.

Plaintiff Erie Insurance Co. sued Skyline Corp, a modular home manufacturer, to recover money Erie paid to it's insured for a fire that destroyed the insured's home. The issue in this case is where the fire started. Plaintiff claims it started in the wall. Defendant claims it started in the insured's appliances.

Defendant and her boyfriend were charged with possession of 36 lbs. of marijuana found in her master bedroom. The boyfriend pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years in prison. Julie Boatwright denied she knew of the marijuana.

Civil claim of assault and battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Defendant admits he pleaded guilty to "attempted rape" of the Plaintiff but says he was not guilty and only did so to avoid prison.

Plaintiff, a child, ran into the road while engaged in a snowball fight. He was struck by Defendant's vehicle. Defendant claims the child darted out without looking and she could not stop in time.

Building contract claim. Homeowner sues contractor for fraud in obtaining a mechanic's lien on his home. The contractor, Defendant, counterclaims against the homeowner for work performed and not paid.

Plaintiff excavator, claims breach of contract for failure to pay for work performed. Defendant, developer, counterclaimed for negligence on the part of Plaintiff in performing the excavation work.

Plaintiff claims Defendant breached an agreement relating to trade secrets causing Plaintiff to lose business. Defendant denies it breached the agreement.

Defendant charged with domestic violence against his wife. His wife testifies that it did not happened.

10-09-01 Carter v. Slone Case No. 99CIV1021
Personal injury motor vehicle accident. Defendant admits that he rear-ended Plaintiff but denies he proximately caused the injuries claimed by plaintiff.

10-22-01 Busson v. Medina General Hospital Case No. 99CIV1037
Medical malpractice. Plaintiff's child dies three days after a difficult birth. Plaintiff claims the Defendants, doctors, misused a vacuum extractor and failed to properly treat both mother and child.

10-30-01 Dunn v. Allstate Insurance Co. Case No. 00CIV0049
Plaintiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident. Defendant admits liability but denies proximate cause for Plaintiff's claimed injuries and lost wages.

11-05-01 State of Ohio v. Miller Case No. 01CR0350
Defendant charged with abduction and domestic violence relating to his girlfriend. She testified she lied and made up the story when the police arrived to get the Defendant in trouble.

Defendant charged with trafficking in drugs within the vicinity of a juvenile. At trial the Defendant admits she sold the drugs but claims she was entrapped.

Plaintiff sues Defendant for the return of property she claims is hers after they broke up. Defendant counterclaims for his own property and gifts given "in contemplation of marriage."

Homeowners sue the lending company for failure to properly inspect the property before releasing funds to the contractor. The contractor failed to perform the contract and failed to pay the subcontractors and material men.

12-10-01 Wellman v. Ulmer Case No. 00 CIV 1071
Personal injury. One truck driver sues another truck driver when the Plaintiff's truck struck the rear of the Defendant's truck parked on the roadside in a fog.

12-17-01 State of Ohio v. McNamme Case No. 01 CR 0295
Criminal case. The Defendant was charged with theft and RSP. She aided and abetted her lover, Don Mora, in stealing a computer from Judge Kimbler's bailiff in Courtroom II.
