"Community Housing Improvement Program"
Medina County is accepting Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from qualified consultants to provide a range of services related to the implementation of Medina County's Community Housing Improvement Program including preparation of the application for FY 2012 Community Housing Improvement Program funds; and for the implementation and administration of said grant if awarded. Interested firms and individuals can obtain the scope of services at the Medina County Commissioners Office, 144 North Broadway, Suite 205, Medina, Ohio 44256 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Qualification Statements and a proposal shall be submitted to the above address by no later than 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to select any proposal deemed most favorable to the County.

Sealed bids will be received by the Medina County Board of Commissioners, Medina, Ohio in the office of said Board, located in the Medina County Administration Building, 144 N. Broadway, Medina, OH 44256, until 2:00 p.m. Ohio time, Thursday, February 23, 2012. Bids will be opened immediately following as provided by law for "Medina County Courthouse Window Restoration", in accordance with specifications now on file in the Medina County Board of Commissioners' Office for all prospective bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, or a certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid tendered. Sealed bids will be received by the Medina County Board of Commissioners for the purchase of County-owned property located at 3076 Remsen Road and 3334 Myers Road, Medina Township. The property consists of 5.4496 acres of land and a total of 39,100 square feet of building space. The property is currently zoned as rural residential and subject to the zoning regulations of Medina Township. Interested parties may receive the required bidding forms and additional information regarding this bid process and the property by contacting Mr. Chris Jakab, Medina County Commissioners’ Office, 144 N. Broadway, Medina, OH 44256. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, or a certified check, cashier’s check or letter of credit in the amount of $100.00. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Remsen Road Property Purchase” and must be addressed to and received in the Office of the Medina County Board of Commissioners no later than 2:00 p.m. Ohio time, February 16, 2012.
