Capt. Theodore P. Neura, United States Air Force
Date of Birth:  May 1, 1932
Attended Brunswick High School and Auburn University
Home of Record:  Brunswick Township
Entered Service:  September 1959
Served with the Military Air Assistance Group, Military Assistance Command, Republic of South Vietnam.  Died in the Mekong Delta Area, Vietnam, December 12, 1963.
Awarded:  The Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor, Air Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, Air Force Pilot Wings, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

ATN3 Thomas L. Plants, United States Navy

Date of Birth:  May 11, 1940
Attended Medina High School
Home of Record:  Medina City
Entered Service:  November 1961
Served with Electronic Support Group, U.S.S. Midway.  Died in the South China Sea, Vietnam, June 2, 1965.  
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Navy Commendation Medal for Valor, Presidential Unit Citation, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

 

PFC Patrick T. Mooney, United States Army
Date of Birth:  February 14, 1947
Attended Brunswick High School
Home of Record:  Brunswick City
Entered Service:  October 1965
Served with the 101st Airborne Division, Vietnam.  Died in Phan Rang, Vietnam, June 20, 1966.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Paratrooper Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

 

PFC Clarence A. Mooney, United States Army
Date of Birth:  November 8, 1944
Attended Logan High School,  West Virginia
Home of Record:  Medina City
Entered Service:  June 1966
Served with the 9th Infantry Division, Vietnam.  Died in DaNang, Vietnam, March 16, 1967.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman's Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

SP4 Darrell L. Reid, United States Army

Date of Birth:  November 14, 1946
Attended Wadsworth High School
Home of Record:  Wadsworth City
Entered Service:  May 10, 1966
Served with C Company, 3rd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Infantry Division, Vietnam.  Died in Binh Phoc, Mekong Delta, Vietnam, August 20, 1967.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor, Combat Infantryman's Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

LCPL Richard O. Fisher, United States Marine Corps

Date of Birth:  February 14, 1948
Attended Cloverleaf High School

Entered Service:  July 1966
Served with Company I, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, Vietnam.  Died in the DMZ Area, Quang Tri Province, Vietnam.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

PFC Walter Sauer, Jr., United States Marine Corps

Date of Birth:  July 20, 1947
Attended Revere High School, Richfield
Home of Record:  Hinckley Township
Entered Service:  October 1966
Served with G Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, Vietnam.  Died in Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, September 21, 1967.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Republic of Vietnam Military Merit Medal for Valor,  National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

SGT Robert E. Bowman, United States Army

Entered Service:  September 1966
Served with the 25th Infantry Division, Vietnam.  Died near the Cambodian border, Vietnam, January 2, 1968.
Awarded:  The Purple Heart, Bronze Star for Valor, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, Combat Infantryman's Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Service Medal, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

CPL Paul J. Bachman, United States Army
